My Country? Europe‘s main aim is to inform about Europe, its culture, and its people, in order to foster a sense of belonging to it and set the ground for a European Federation. Born as a Facebook page in the wake of the Crimean crisis, the team has grown to include members and contributors from all over Europe. Some of them have been friends for years while others have bonded thanks to the project. And that is what the European spirit is about.

Our media projects
Bringing Europeans Together Association Netherlands (BETA Netherlands) is a non-profit national youth association founded in November 2018 by a group of young, capable and ambitious individuals who had the ultimate goal of bringing Model European Union simulations to Netherlands, the one of the founding countries of the European Union. BETA Netherlands is also the official Dutch branch of the European federal association based in Brussels, Bringing Europeans Together Association Europe (BETA Europe). Europa United is partnering with MEU Netherlands for their forthcoming simulation taking place in Delft between the 13th and the 16th of July.
In 2018 and 2019, Europa United was invited to attend the The M100 Sanssouci Colloquium which is an annual set of events first initiated in 2005 by a group of leading media and public figures when Potsdam was running for European Capital of Culture 2010. Since then the conference annually takes place in cultural centres in Postdam.
In 2017, Europa United was a media partner for two exciting projects that are taking place in March that year. We were also incredibly proud to support a European citizen who successfully completed an amazing feat in the name of European solidarity and a worthy cause in summer 2017.
The Rome Manifesto
United Europe, together with the German-Italian Center for European Excellence Villa Vigoni and Stiftung Mercator presented the “Rome Manifesto,” a document setting out the next generation’s views and proposals for the future of Europe.
March For Europe 2017
On 25 March 2017, March For Europe organised thousands of European citizens to march in Rome to ask for a stronger, more united and more democratic Europe. Europeans from all across the continent joined together to form one of the biggest pro-European gatherings and to oppose national divisions as well as showing their support for the European project. The March coincided with the 60th anniversary of the European Economic Community.
During July of 2017, Ralph Mesquita successfully completed a run from Nordkapp in Norway to Tarifa in Spain in less than 90 days. Ralph was keen to raise awareness for obesity and so he dedicated his amazing achievement to raising awareness about the illness. Europa United was a proud supporter of Ralph and we covered his attempt via our Facebook page and website.
