New Europeans is a civil rights organisation which champions freedom of movement, non-discrimination and the principle of solidarity in Europe. The organisation is now expanding across Europe with recently opened offices in Ireland and Brussels.
European Movement Ireland is an independent, not-for-profit, membership-based organisation working to develop the connection between Ireland and Europe.
European Movement International is an international organisation open to all political, economic, social and cultural trends in civil society. Its objective is to contribute to the establishment of a united, federal Europe founded on the principles of peace, democracy, liberty, solidarity, and respect for basic human rights.
My Country? Europe‘s main aim is to inform about Europe, its culture, and its people, in order to foster a sense of belonging to it and set the ground for a European Federation. Born as a Facebook page in the wake of the Crimean crisis, the team has grown to include members and contributors from all over Europe. Some of them have been friends for years while others have bonded thanks to the project. And that is what the European spirit is about.
Eyes on Europe is a student association based in Brussels. The association’s goal is dual – first to act as students for students, with the aim of enabling them to develop professional skills, to become autonomous and responsible as well as to blossom through a project of their own. Eyes on Europe host a press website, publish a bi-annual magazine and set up numerous events in relation to the EU. Within this framework they also strive for raising awareness of European citizens, so that they develop a critical but fair mindset vis-à-vis the European Union.
United Europe is a transnational organisation that organises speeches, conferences, research projects and seminars. Of particular importance is the United Europe Lecture: Once or twice a year, a prominent non-European will be invited to speak about the challenges confronting Europe in the world. Another regular event is the Young Professionals Seminar where we invite outstanding young professionals from all over Europe to discuss topics that are essential to the future of Europe.
The EFF is the first European Communication and Project Development Network. The primary goal of the EFF is to connect & build bridges between citizens to build the future together and the EFF fulfills its objectives through two main activities: network and project development.
Our media projects
In 2018 Europa United was invited to attend the The M100 Sanssouci Colloquium which is an annual set of events first initiated in 2005 by a group of leading media and public figures when Potsdam was running for European Capital of Culture 2010. Since then the conference annually takes place in cultural centres in Postdam.
In 2017, Europa United was invited to be a media partner for two exciting projects that are taking place this March. We are also incredibly proud to support a European citizen who is attempting an amazing feat in the name of European solidarity and a worthy cause in summer 2017.
The Rome Manifesto
United Europe, together with the German-Italian Center for European Excellence Villa Vigoni and Stiftung Mercator presented the “Rome Manifesto,” a document setting out the next generation’s views and proposals for the future of Europe.
March For Europe 2017
On 25 March 2017, March For Europe organised thousands of European citizens to march in Rome to ask for a stronger, more united and more democratic Europe. Europeans from all across the continent joined together to form one of the biggest pro-European gatherings and to oppose national divisions as well as showing their support for the European project. The March coincided with the 60th anniversary of the European Economic Community.
During July of 2017, Ralph Mesquita successfully completed a run from Nordkapp in Norway to Tarifa in Spain in less than 90 days. Ralph was keen to raise awareness for obesity and so he dedicated his amazing achievement to raising awareness about the illness. Europa United was a proud supporter of Ralph and we covered his attempt via our Facebook page and website.
